winch

Post by Hobzee »

You shouldn't need a winch - I didnt winch and I ran 35" Muddies ... but some bog holes are going to scare you stupid without one. You are in teams of 2 and I would suggest you take a few snatch straps and make sure you dont both end up in the same hole together ... There's a line there ....

C'Mon rain dam it!

Ruffy - got your calculator this time? and spare boots ..

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee haaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Man that was fun... We had an absolute blast... I've never been to Dissa before but i'll be going back. That was awsome driving.

Well done Doodle boy and Hobzee

Congratulations to ATOC, well deserved win.

Thanks and congratulations to all the other competitors.

A huge thanks To Terry Roberts, Walter and Christina for the catering and amusemunt around the camp fire.

I was bummed out that we missed a 150 pointer because we forgot to go to it!!!!!! We had it plotted perfect as i checked it with another team after the event that i know got it! grrrrrrrrrrrr.. But never mind we were never in with a chance.

Keep up the good work NAVRUN ;)

Cheers Dan

well i ended up having a great time in the navigator seat this time and there are plenty of good tracks up around dissapointment, which you can call bog hole city.

it was the first navrun for my driver and he loved it all and definately will be back for more, Ben did a great job.

We ended up coming 4th out of 13 so we were very happy with that.

Definately need to do a couple of drivers up at dissa as i found a few good areas to play

thanks to Rudi and Hobzee for another great navrun, see you at Bendigo.

from memory the results were:

1st ATOC
2nd Low Ranges
3rd ? (from NSW)
4th Ontrack / Waeco
Gq ute new built

Thanks all for a great weekend Rudes and Hobsy. Absolutely bugged from the travling but first time to the Dissa area and it was worth it all. Well done to all that were there to have a go and well done to the top 3 place getters. Can't wait for the next NSW navrun.

Well I would like to put out a big thanks to Dereck and Damien for helping me out on their way home from the Navrun. These lads helped me patch a hole in the question mark shaped hose on the GQ at yaraglen united. The tyre plugged worked a treat and got me home. Cheers lads!!!
