Gday again peoples,
Just wondering if anyone has drawn up precise plans for their roof console and or steel snorkle for their WT sierra??
Roof sonle i will be making myself outa wood and my mate will be bending me up a snorkle outa stainless but it would help greatly (and be faster:P) if we could "borrow" someone elses plans on them.
If so could u please either pm me with them or let me know somehow, im sorta stuck on ideas...

Design Plans for Roof Console and Snorkle
Snorkels have come in many shapes and sizes - see other threads.
I am going quite simple (when i get around to making mine):
- 2 measured lengths of 3" Alluminium pipe with tabs welded on
- 1 ram flow head
- 1 45 degree bend (flexy hose)
- 1 90 degree bent (flexy hose)
May look hack, but i dont have a pipe bender!

I don't recommend flexy hose for snorkel connections outside of the engine bay.
Flexy hose will suffer from UV attack, and depending on the type of driving you do, will cop a real hiding. The bottom corner of the snorkel on my G wagen is only 3" away from the body at it's widest point, and I have ground it against banks heaps. If I had flex hose I would have torn it numerous times.
