ok are the conrods (h beam,i beam) the same between the 4.5 1fz-fe and a 1hd-t engine?

i have emailed them to see if they will make the same for a 1hd-t, but looking through there today it seems most if not all are petrol over there.

Yep, they dont even get manuals...only petrol autos, and the prado auto at that, and drum brakes, and semi floaters optional full float lockers....but on the inside, they get leather std....nice rods...how bad is your rod? is it worth close and honing the set??

my rods are fine, i was looking for bulletproof rods for my new hypo engine im building..

i decided to stay with the good old 1hd-t engine instead of the 1hd-ft.

Your not going to rev it hard enough to need anything more than stock ballanced and shotpeened rods. Decent pistons yes but the stock rods will be up to the task i imagine.

Have you seen the Yanmar diesels?? they are hdt's for boats with huge power....

still doesnt look like a hdt as its 24valve..
