Post by Zooknut »

I am looking at some new springs for a custom 2.5in lift and was wondering what spring rates others are running?

I curently have a Pedders lift in the car but they can't suply me with any figures.

The coil kits we made for Zooks a few years back were 200lb spring.

I have King Springs in my Coily, stuffed if I know what the rate is though. You could try contacting them I guess?

A mates coily has 150lb springs in the front on homemade coilovers (Rancho RS9000 shock with a platform welded on). It used to have 200lb, but they were pretty bouncy and didn't flex well.

It has an 8274 winch hanging right off the front too.

Rears are factory Mitsubishi Galant VR4 springs :)

Thanks for all your help!!!! I have chosen to go with the king springs coils with home made struts and snake racing radius arms.
the struts will be rs5000 with a sleve over them to raise the height and extra spacers in the rear.
Cheers Stirlo
