crossover.Q

Hi all, i have a dilemma with my crossover setup. i fitted a commodore 3.8 to my 85 4runner. an ifs steering box and one of ori's y arms. now it seems the drag link i have yet to sort out will contact the sump. does anyone have any experience with this issue? btw the transmission and tcase are 40mm higher than standard, which of course means the engine is a little higher than it would have been. thanks for any help.

1. Did you get the ori arm with the top taper drilled from the bottom?

2. What steering box and arm are you using?

3. How much lift have you dialed into the suspension?

Had this problem on my v6. Went with a reverse sump and axle 3" forward.
Had the y arm also with taper from underneath.

thanks.well i guess sump cutting is the way to go. the ifs box is out of an 86 4runner with the pitman arm it came with, its as far forward as i could get it without cutting the body,.the taper is in the top of the ori arm. the front hangers have been dropped 45mm and springs are approx 3 in. lift. i admit i used the search feature ,but wondered if anyone had come up with an easy way to sort it out recently.
