Which tube bender??? JD2 vs. Speedworks

Post by The Fish »

I'm looking at buying a bender to bend 1 3/4" CDS tube and have done a heap of reading through previous topics and The Bible and it seems that everyone is very happy with either the JD2 or the Speedworks benders. I haven't been able to find a negative comment about either one

I know threads on tube benders have been done to death but I need to decide between the 2 brands and by putting up this poll and getting those who respond to the poll to add some comments as well then it will save those with the same question in the future

Cheers, Shane ;)

If you want to do 180 bends the JD2 is the go, otherwise they are both excellent benders.

X3 I have a speedwerx and it works very well but being limited to 90 deg bends (yes you can get about 110 but the tube starts to crimp) is a limitation. you can design around it but I am jealous of the 180 degree capability of the the JD2
