Anyine fitted a 50mm body lift into a NL 3.5 paj? Are their any major issues?? I mean, with the ABS system and and being an automagic? I imagine lengthening the ABS lines would be a pain.!!! My NH has no worries but it was not auto nor fitted with ABS. Not long till my new truck is here!!!!!!!!! Bigger and better than the last....

No drama's Grant, the above Jabber is a 95 model 3.5 DOHC V6 with ABS and he had no real drama's, I'm not sure if it has an airbag though, that's probably the biggest potential problem.
Also the 3.5 V6 & 2.8 TDI has a 30mm factory body lift over earlier 3.0 V6's this is achieved by welding the body mount tabs higher up on the chassis rail.

It got the airbag too. All 94+ vehicles in US are required to have driver side airbag and couple years later same is true for passanger.

Vic, I heard the same thing. My bodylift came in the mail this morning, so I'm putting it in today! Without that annoying "engine" in the way, I'm thinking it should be easier, eh?

Yes it will help Phil, you can get at the steering arm to unbolt it so it can slip on the spline as you lift the body. Also much easier to pull your radiator out and make the drop down brackets and generally you can see everything (and get to easily) the brakelines, wiring etc if they have to be "fiddled with"

The heater hoses that come out of the firewall... They like like they my not take to kindly to the 40mm body lift that i have planned.... How did u guys go with yours????
Also, has anyone done a motor/driveline lift ?? Just thinking about this as it will alleviate the problems with gear/transfer shifters,heater hoses, radiator cowling n probably a few other things....
I have done a bodylift b4. It was on my 4runner back in the mid 90's.. had no probs at all...
Just after some thoughts and helpfull hints...

I am doing a 75mm body lift at the moment which includes removing the fuel tank and cutting the rear chassis and lifting it up 75mm ,behind the panhard bracket,then refitting the tank with 75mm more clearance.
Then I want to cut the front chassis in front of the firewall and lift it 75mm.
Then fabricate a new g/box Xmember to fit between chassis rails and raise this 75mm.
Then remove the torsion bar Xmember and fit a bolt in one to ease transmission removal and give a clean under belly.
Then fit my bunderra 4.88 front axle.
That should cover the Xmas hols.

Wow, thats a lot of work ahead of you for a 75mm body lift. I made and installed my own 90mm (3.5inches) body lift to my NH Pajero about a year ago now. Never had any problems, even a year on now... no hassles.
When installing it, steering spline had adequate length, brake lines and all electrical wiring had ample length. Only issue was the fuel filler pipe... nothing a section of exhaust pipe and two hose clamps didn't fix.
Am keen to see how you go lift the rear chassis and fuel tank. be sure you post pics.
In all, my 3.5 inch lift took me 3 hours to complete, all by myself. Easy.
