Post by joey2389 »

hey guys just got a set of 33 inch bighorns for my car. well their in my garage atm, get fitted on friday. just woundering if i will have any guard scrubing problems. ive got 2 inch efs suspension lift and a 2 inch body lift. the front is really only 1 inch lifted so that it dosent affect the little travel i have, as much. any info would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Depending on how wide the tyres are they may scrub a little.

I have 2" sus and 2" body lifts on the same vehicle and run 33" x 12 1/2" claws, they only ever scrub when in reverse at full lock and on uneven ground. Even then they only just touch one of the bolt heads that hold the front mud flap on.

Should be fine

Maybe you will have to dial the front up that extra 1/2" to 1" maybe not.

Cheers

Claws are notoriously short though.

I will go and measure one and get back with an honest measurement.

mesured up the big horns exaxtly 33 inches on the button. they have a 50/50 chance of scrubbing. if they do scrub a grinder and a ball point hammer will fix it. prob wont need to widen wheel arch, just take a bit out on the inside of the guard which wont stand out. hopefully. i will post up a pic how it looks like now and 2morrow afternoon when tha tyres are on. thanks for your help. joey2389 cheers!
