Going the paint the camper trailernext weekend and I was reading on the Hammertone KillRust label and it just said when spraying thin Spareingly?

Has anyone used this stuff before ?

Has you got and idea on mixing ratio's.

Just dont want to F up painting it as it needs to be ready for willowglen.

not hammertone, but we used killrust.. takes a fair hiding, particularly from flying recovery points! :shock:

i would think 'thin sparingly' would be around 10% thinners... just try it, if you can spray it ok its thin enough.. if you over thin it, it will probably loose the hammertone effect.

mate i would mix it bout 20 % andf see how it sprays its usually around that for an enamel, also you can get an activator which will help the paint cure.

check with you local paint place about the activator

62 was Petrol, now 12ht ! Body lift, lockers, spring lift, reverse offset rocrawler...? rims, NO RUST, some more stufffff....

Most , not all mammertones need a laquer thinner and don't like being sprayed onto a cold surface as they bloom and run. You will need multiple thin coats of hammertone to build up descent coverage , best done on a warm day in the sun , and use a etch primer , the better one's are two part etch primer. The laquer thinner makes the paint go off really quick , good luck , Cheers Paul.
