just a quick question bout paint, i have just sprayed my mq at home with acrylic, wot paint can i use on the canopy, will the acrylic be ok on it or will it react. it looks like the original job on the canopy. any help would be appreciated, would save finding out the hard way

fiberglass canopy i presume?

the fiberglass one isnt painted so it wouldnt be origional if its painted :P


i dont think acrylic would react with the resin....

Generally the fibreglass canopy's arn't painted. If yours is it is most likelly a steel canopy.

i would spray a primer over the top as the solvent in acrylic piant tends to bite in it will probably react. causing fry ups.

cheers for da help, it isnt steel. mite leave it until i get my side windows in,
will put some pics on da puter soon, was to ugly to put up before.

there is a fiberglass primer and paint you can buy. just go to a boat place and ask them where you can get it.
