new truck

Post by cruiser60series »

For those who are interested

I just started my first project ever. Not very exciting...just fixing up rust damage to this hj47, fixing up swivels hub seals, getting the glow plugs working again and replace some exhaust pipe. Hopefully all under $2.5g (including the 2g i bought it for)

got the roof off.

and the side (that's my dad not me)

this is me

the worst rust

will now be selling this to bankroll the troopy. If anyone is interested.

Hopefully all go to plan and i will be pimping it around in a new troopy before christmas.
At first I thought it was a sea anemone, upon closer inspection I realised it was a funky ball of tits from outer space.

No Tapage, it's a Donaldson Cyclopac air filter. They were a common modification fitted to 40 series in the 1980's.

They are an excellent air filter, especially when fitted with a top-spin precleaner as this one is.

this one does replace the airbox inside. Leaving room for an extra battery or something.
