just put a new harness in and connected up everything but now the 4wd light won't work checked globes changed wires ect the only thing i can think of is that the harness is out of a early model ?? any ideas as now it is a pita :armsup:

Check the switch on the front of the T-case.

When i got my gears they were already in a case but the 4x4 switch was brocken so i got one from suzuki and it didn't work! Must be off a later model!

If yours is from an early model and you need a late model one i'm all up for swappin and givin it a go! Cost me $43! ;)

the shop i get all my parts from just gave me one when i found out mine was shagged even though i found out the cable is to short with the body lift

another job this weekend :roll:

EDIT: check the bulb in the dash too

Did it work before you changed the harness , if not meter the switch to see if it closes when put in 4wd , if not switch could be shagged or the ball bearing could be missing from the switch , or as you suggested the loom might not be correct but if it has a plug it should work , Cheers Paul.

the light worked till i changed the loom and i tryed changing the plugs no go . :armsup: i.ll just learn how to drive with out it :bad-words:
