I haven't, but with modern stream line vehicles, air flow can be critical, so it is certainly possible for poorly designed bars, or big spotties to cause a prob.
of course there is many other possibilities to cause overheating.

Question 1: Define overheating... you mean going into the red and having to stop?
Question 2: You have aircon don't you?

I haven't heard of any overheating problems, however typically if you have aircon the aircon's radiator will cover up most of the engine radiator... the bullbar may block the passage of air further.
Ideally the "air dam" (not just the grill between the headlights) should still be channelling air up the radiator though...
But no, I haven't heard of overheating in Jimnys... but I have heard of aircon and bullbars making a difference on Land Rover Discoverys (Diesel)...
Re overheating jimny
I drive a 2001 model jimny with the twincam engine, it has about 80k on the clock with 3in susp lift and 2in in the body at the time my overheating problem started i was running 215 15r tyres (not big) I found mainly in the bush with lots of hills n slow driving jimny will overheat. I feel the viscous fan clutch isn't operating properly as when it gets to hot to run properly I'm able to hold the fan with my hand as the clutch isn't engaging when hot, Yes very dodgy! I have found by disconecting the aircon compresor clutch wire It allows the electric fan to run pemanently but with no cool air coming out in cab, doh!!! but it gets me home it has also happened once on the freeway once again hot day traveling at 120km/h on slight hills i was thinking of fitting a fan clutch from a sierra as I've seen them as religable hope they fit n contacting suzuki is out of the question, not going to waste my time.
