Tyre talk

Post by Shorty40 »

Since there seems to be a bit of interest about tyres at the moment, has anyone seen the Nitto Mud Grabbers :?:

I have seen them inside the front cover of either Petersons or 4 Wheeler.

They look pretty cool - I'll try and scan a pic tonight (unless someone has one already ;) )

They will be offered in an 18" rim originally, and according to Nitto at SEMA, this will be the smallest rim size available. Next will be 20 and 22s.

I'm trying to work out what tyres I should put on the FJ40 when I get to that stage. Will be looking at 35s and at this stage MTRs top the list simply from a $$ point of view...but a little worried the tyre won't be as good for ASCC as it would be for XRCC :?

Multiple tyre sets is the best way to go.
Built, not bought.
