These guys claim to be able to do a rocky locker . . .
http://www.taftdieselindonesia.com/new/ ... &Itemid=26

If they do then it would should be a pretty decent price coming from Indonesia.

ALSO, this company boasts vacuum operated ones for the Rocky (Bit exxy though):

Don't know if this is the same guy - but some time ago I attempted to contact a guy over there that would do lockers.

He never replied to any of my emails ( which were admittedly in English ) but it made me very nervous about dealing with him.

This could be completely different company - but I thought I would "warn" you.
( usual disclaimers )

It seemed like a much better idea when I started it than it does now.

Yeah, I emailed the guy in Indonesia about the cable activated locker a while back, never got a reply either.

That German one looks a bit more promising, quite dear though.

How hard could it be to make a cable operated one? really. Does it just cram a metal plate between the spider gears? The same as you do if you weld the diff?

Wish you could just get the plans for one from somewhere. I've got 4 spares to experiment with

No its a "bit" more complex - involves a dog clutch on one of the side gears.

Yeah I wish I was still working in the gearing industry, they let us do that stuff at work after out shift finished. Pity I cant access the machines there anymore . . . .

I am thinking of contacting both and requesting some prices, see if they take the bait with the company letterhead on it.

lol @ piglet.

Jav, would you take a left nut in trade for your locker?

Or at least somehow get all the metal bits onto a cad program, then I reckon i know someone who could machine them up.

What exactly do u want to know?
From the link.
Roughly it was just explaining how the 4x4 functions, LSDs, and how the various lockers work.

Don't ask me to go into the fine details as my comprehension of the Malay language is atrocious.
Btw i'm a Chinese Malaysian. So Bahasa(Language) Malaysia and Bahasa Indonesia is quite similar.

Hehehe i've got a Detroit too. LOL

I am not exactly sure what you are talking about. And I think every person here knows the internals of a locker.

See the problem in Australia is that there is No Lockers available for the Rocky or Feroza. The links at the top of the topic are purely part of my search to find a supplier.

The German one is a bit vague... doesnt indicate front and or rear.

Way too much to ask for a front locker.

So i just read the article and gave u a brief description.
