My front axle oil seal is slightly leaking. Does anyone know if I can just remove brake and caliper, backing plate, remove axle and then change the oil seal without removing the whole knuckle? If this can be done apart from a new oil seal, is there any other seals required to do the job?
Cheers

Front axle oil seal
you dont need to pull off the knuckle, just need to undo everything to be able to pull out the axle, no need to disconnect any steering linkages.
they are a few more seals located on the parts you will take off, maybe best to buy a complete seal kit and redo all the seals.
there is a seal on the back of the stub axle, on the rotor that holds the bearings in place, and one on the backing plate.
