Problem with Lancrusier

Post by Cruiser101 »

hey all,

i have a 1993 model desiel Toyota landcruiser and have a massive problem with the engine, the engine is not running right at 2.500 revs and putting my foot down causes the engine to die. once its up over 2500 revs its fine however.

can anyone tell me what is wrong with it and what can i do to possibly fix the problem.

i was reving the engine around 2000 revs while my daughter was pumping the fuel pump and it seemed to be running ok. so im confused
anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

There could be air getting into the system somewhere, or a blockage in a fuel line, or the pump could be stuffed, filter blocked...
