Nearly there. Competitors start to arrive tomorrow. The SS set uptoday are very testing and fun, very spectator friendly. Cracker and myself finished setting up 4 GPS SS today, should be fun, Cracker is giving up smoking before he comes out to do this again with me.

Well MMM here, Cracker has no idea what fit is??? I had to carry him out and stop several times during the setting up for him. But we did happen to walk aroud 10k, it was a nice little outing and my assistant was pleading for us to go back to base.
Cheers

had a blast down there on the weekend shame crazy and i had to come back, was very suprised at how some of the top teams were having heating issues in the GPS run on monday, although it could have something to do with the river that they had to drive through sunday night maybe bit of crap in the radiators, was very inpressed with the young townsville guys robert mcdonald and kent battle showed a lot control and thinkin for guys there age and if it wasn't for thermo and sgifter cable problems on moday i reckon they would have been lookin at top 3.
the tracks were alot easier than i was expecting also.
can't wait till next year when i can get time off work i'll be there if my car lasts till then.

hi you guys dont know me but im haylee, andy massavelli's (chris wood's navi) girlfriend i was just wondering how andy and the other guys are going?? im hoping my boy is still alive and well. anyways get back to me, thanks Haylee
G'day Haylee.
I don't know how he is since Sunday, they were going well when I left.
I do think you need to fatten him up with about 20kg for the ground anchor stages.
Xtreme MMM on his website wrote:Here is a very quick report on Day 5.
"25 SS down and 19 to go. Wednesday saw some fantastic driving over the 5 SS.
SS21 had a possible 5 winches in with one compulsory ground anchor at the start. The SS had several DNF's and a couple of broken ground anchors. But the highlight was to see Chris Wood drag his co-driver across the ground trying to set the anchor, poor Andy all of 50kg, these guys were the second in this SS and the first that could leave the start, winched 5 times and completed the SS over time.
SS22 saw the Teams needing 60 plus meters of cable just to reach the anchor point. The 2nd Team into this SS happened to win the Stage, congrats goes to Jacko & Griffo all the way from Townsville.
SS23 was a very long course where some hp helps (as all the Teams bar 1 have, sorry Angry), several Teams had to winch twice but Jacko, Sheety & Rob Marshall managed to drive one hill (messing up my winch average) only having to pull out the rope once.
SS24 again had several winches with one being one to many for Jacko & Griffo having to record a DNF on this SS.
Tonight was also a midway Presentation Dinner with several (24 in total) of SS managers Awards being given out as well as SS winners. This was the first time in 5 days that the Team knew where they were coming on the leaders board.
Thursday will see them doing 5SS followed by a GPS SS that evening.
