60 series clutch problem

Post by Pyrotech »

i went to move my 60 today, and when i put my foot on the clutch it went straight to the floor, no resistance what so ever.

when the car is stationary i can select gears by mashing the stick, and it will start in gear and move the car, but still not clutch.

can anyone please help me shed some light on this and a possible solution

Checked clutch fluid? If its full get someone to press the clutch pedal while you watch to see if the clutch slave is moving the fork. Might need a bleed but chances are you have a leak so you will have to replace master or slave or both. Not expensive anyway and very easy to do.

same thing recently. The piston in the master had rusted fixed to the far end of the cylinder, from not being used for ages.

new master and all good.
At first I thought it was a sea anemone, upon closer inspection I realised it was a funky ball of tits from outer space.
