My boss has a 1982 short wheel base land rover. Not sure what model or anything but it has a 1985 3.5 rover in it, fully regoed and engineered. New fuel pump, new battery, twin suv's, new muddies, roll cage, starter moter and other few bits and pieces.

Bad points, paints peeling, motor overheats think its the waterpump.. back springs need replacing, gearbox loose as a goose.

apart from that runs good n body work pretty clean

he only wants a grand for it. Is this a good buy or is that what they go for?

Is it coil or leave suspension ? As long as there is no or little chassis rust and the rest is ok, i'd buy it for a grand.
Saddle up tonto, its the not so loanrangie! . 98 TDI DISCO lightly modded with more to come.
