Post by 83zook »

Hi does anyone have roolights on their rig? i just want to know if they are any good and a comparison to lightforce? they seam pretty good for the price. $280-ish for the 180mm and $350-ish for the 220mm.
And they come with the complete wiring loom and relays.

Man there is heaps of info on here regarding Roo Lites and thier comparison to Lightforce. Please Search, that's why it's there.

I bought my LF240s from TJM for $385, why pay $350 for a copy?

MAte i have 240 XGT light force on one of my patrols and i have 4 180 roo lights on om other one.

There is not much in them other than the price so i rate them

plus you can put the hid up grade in them for about 100 dollars which is a good robust set of lights for cheep

Well l bought my Roo lites over light force because they were designed by the same person, he left lightforce as he was made redundant without notice, so this is why he went out and sorced another company to make his design.....so this is why l bought mine straight of him when he was at my Autobarn store.....

Cheers Chris

I picked up a pair of 220XP roo lites for $280 at the camping show 2 weeks ago, the wiring loom they come with is pretty good (I make my own though)

There are reports of the light going from white to yellow after 12 months, I guess we'll see. If they do I might look at a set of HID IPFs or LFs
