I'm looking at replacing the mirrors on my troopy. The 60-series mirrors on ebay look bigger and the bolt pattern looks similar to the 75-series. Does anyone know if it will fit without modification?
Are the 60-series mirrors bigger then the 75-series troopy?

60 mirrors on 75 series
I think the new 76 series mirrors are similar to 75 series bolt pattern.

60 series mirrors will fit with a little bit of engineering. First;y the bolt holes are the same as 75's but the bolt plate is slightly the wrong shape you can do 1 of 2 things. 1 cut a wedge shaped piece of aluminium to make up thew difference on the door or you can change the bases over from a 75 to the 60 mirrors.
Other things to take into consideration are the chrome mirrors on 60's are more often than not electric, and the black ones are the standerd ones but they too also come in electric.
Or alternatively to all this you can track down some bj/fj 73/74 mirrors with all the work down for you.
The new model cruiser ones are electric and if you rock on down to toyota and ask for a price the list price when the vehicle was releases only a few months ago was $600 per side.
