ok team so ive put a new radiator in 2 weeks ago and now i notice ive got water coming out of timing belt cover
just wondering how hard the water pump will be to do and any tips?
Ln106 dual cab lux 2.8 diesel
2inch lift, canopy, 32 pedes, barwork

2006 vz sv6, 3.6l high output v6

Not that hard but is a pain.
You have to remove:
-Radiator
-Fan
-All the V belts
-Harmonic balancer
-Aircon and mount (I think, from memory the idler pulley is in the way)
-Timing belt cover
-Water pump

Then just swap the pump, slap some ultra blue gasket silicone on it.
And then bolt all the other shiat back on :)

Should be able to get it past ac bracket if not it's only 4 extra bolts When was T/belt done it might pay to do it when it's all apart also depending on K's my crank seal was starting to leak at 225000 k's and fairly common for them to do this

thanks champ ill get on it ive got a rdo monday and can use the wifes car tues if i need too. ive got a million things on at the moment but its gotta be done.
thinking of putting a thermo fan in whilst putting it back together

just finished putting the pump back on and im pretty happy with it.
not too hard a job really, as with all things it just takes time.
any one know how i can tell if my viscious fan is working
