jav..

I sold my old diffs out of my GQ with 4.3s for 1400 bux complete two years ago.

4.6's are good for 35 inch tyres for most GQ's... I'd be chasing 1500/1700 for them complete if they are in good nic.
custom bar work, 4x4 parts, trailers, anything out of steel/alloy :D

fatory 4.6 centres ALONE will fetch easy over 1000$

talking them down will not affect the price Smile

i bet my left testicle if you were selling a set you would expect 1200

fact is they are alot rarer than any other ratio. they only started coming out in GQ's in 95 so thats only 3 years of GQ ratio,s that you would realistically have access to on d seconf hand market.
3.9's and 4.1's have been around for 8 years before then, and are fitted to every other patrol.

3.9/4.1 4.1 ratio centres can be bought here for 100- 150$ each, and are only good for standard trucks or V8's.

your 2x 4.1 @500 diffs more than likely include drum rear ( worth didly sqat) you may get a chopped up set for 500 , there are obviously exceptions to the rule here, but not many.

factory 4.6 gears for a grand? hehehehe maybe a grand an end..

A patrol diff is only just run in at 200,000kms!

jesse928 ive seen your adds for diffs on here you chase more for diffs than any wrecker in brisbane.

if you can buy a whole 2.8 gq for 2k running why the hell are the diffs worth 1800?

mate gq's arent worth what they used to be you can buy one for under 1500 every day of the week now
thats a whole car not 2 diffs

ps i dont want 4.6 diffs and never will so im not tryng to talk them down just not wanting to give someone falce expectations about what they will get dor there gear.

pps talking the price of patrols up likewise will not increase the price of them. they are a dime a dozen and so are there parts and they will remain this way untill we have destroyed almost all of them and the parts become rare. unfortunatly thats the price of having a strong drive train...... it never breaks so noone needs parts for them making them worth sfa

if you can get factory 4.6's for under a GRAND point me in that direction, i will buy 10 sets

we are not talking about patrols here, we are talking 4.6 ratios.
if you can get me 10 x 2.8 patrols in any condition other than burnt to a singe for 4 grand, i will buy ten of them.

brisbane..i wonder why wreckers in brizzy buy out of sydney? its funny how cars are more expensive in bne but parts ( as you say) are cheaper?

we have been through this before, it hasnt changed ;)
