The 37 12.5 17 is the best tyre I've had yet... :armsup: ..............Apart from it's obvious off-road ability, it is awsome on the blacktop. Perfect for Vic. but dunno about W.A.
They only make radials to 35"....bias in 37 and 40's

Mud Empire,

The 35 radials don't have the massive side lugs do they?

Who stocks them in melbourne?
what are they worth roughly for the 37's?
Are they a 12.5 wide? or wider?

hmmm.....I need new tyres, these look like they may be worth a try.

The Trepadores, according to the maxxis website come in 30" and 31" tyres, then it jumps to 35 inch size......WTF?

What happened to a set of these in 33/12.5x15 or 285/75x16 ?

Missing out on a huge market there Maxxis?

Mud Empire, what sort of life do you get out of them?

Would they be ok for blacktop during the week and offroad on weekends?

What ply tread/sidewall?

good on the black top, quetier and better than the simex MTRs i had b4...i have em in 31s, want the 33s in an upgrade soon, but will have to settle for something else now...

I can't answer for Maxxis....It's inconceivable that they haven't got more sizes covered....but that's the way it is..!!
The Radials 235 75R15, 205R16, 31 10.5R15, 35 12.5R15 are available in Melb atm and are excellent mud and rock tyres, whilst being quiet and long wearing on the blacktop.
The bias ply 37 12.5 16 (sticky), 37 12.5 17 (hard compound), 37 12.5 17 (sticky), 40 13.5 17 (sticky) are the next generation off road tyre that will become more popular with the comp scene as more discover how damn good they are. :cool:
Pricing on 37 17 (hard compound) is $585, 37 16 (sticky) $520, 37 17 (sticky) $615, 40 17 (sticky) $740.......pricing can change

after you break your frist uni with them can i have your other one while you upgrade diffs?

i've just gone from 36" pedes to 37" trepadors and the trepadors absolutley shit on the pedes.

The actual size (mounted on a 17X9 @ 20psi) is right on 37"
Unlike other bias tyres, Treps all measure the same, ...... and the width is more like 13" wall to wall. As with all Maxxis comp tyres the best results offroad are on beadlocks because of the super strong sidewalls. As they get older they tend to flex more and work even better..!!
