Are OX winches any good?

Post by Toyboy »

I'm looking at this OX winch on Ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/OX-10-000-lb-Ele ... dZViewItem

What are your thoughts on these winches? are they as good as a Warn or am I better off paying the extra for a Warn?

I would appreciate your input.

Don't buy a cheap chinese winch and get let down by it.! Grab yourself a quality winch at a bargain price
Isn't that exactly what an Ox winch is? :?

Ive got a 10 000 tmax on a hilux ( I know its not an ox) but im sure they are pretty well the same, they are at the cheaper end of the market compared to warn prices. Ive only had the tmax 6 months but given it a good floggin and still going strong. And I know plenty of others that are pleased with them.
I know it wasnt answering your question but the tmax is a good buy at $850.
cheers Dan

You can buy a warn for that sort of money. Just bought a 8000 low mount for $800 AUD delivered from the states, pick up from the airport
