Whats a good mud Tyre?

Post by Evildounut »

Me and my Dad are just getting the Nissan lifted so we can get 35" under it. In doing so we need New tyres to put under there. we have no experance so it would be good if we could get some feed back on what is a good mud tyre, and the price of it

Cheers

about 300- 400 a tyre...but thats in NZ
that about the cost of a Pirelli Scorpion MUD 235/85R16 to the cost of a Kumho 834 MT 35/12.5R15

if that makes any sence to anyone haha

mudzillas are meant to be really good in mud, particularly in ruts, with those sidebiters they would get a hell of alot of sideways grip.... havnt tried them, but they are in my list still that has been narrowed down considerably...

Why don't you jump on Offroad Express and ask there as what you want is something that will work in your conditions plus you'll probably be able to find out where is the best place to buy from too.

silverstone mt 117 sport or extreme's are a good mud tyre, pretty cheap compared to others also, the sport resembles the mickey thompson claw and the extreme resembles the simex jungle trecker!!!

Mud Tire .. ( but only mud ) Boggers ! ( IMOP )

Mud, ruts, trail .. hard off road TSL

Mixed off road, HW driving .. BFG Crawlers ..

The best MT tire that I ever seen in mud ( and we have plenty here ) it's the General Grabber .. MT awesome tire ( on and off road for a MT sure )

MTR are great on road and some rocks .. but really sucks in mud.
