Zook models

Post by guerd87 »

evening guys how are we?

well after buying my first zook on saturday all i can say is wow :D these things are great

i havnt done much research on all of these and im still working on looking up about putting a lift etc in and getting some good tyres, prob fit up a rear locker if i need it

the thing that i cant find is a dead certain answer on one question, what model is my zook i bought?

stats:

1996 SWB soft top
1.3l carbied engine
coil springs all round

now i hink i have a SJ model but i cant find any sources telling me that its exact? does it sound right?

anyway, here is a pic of when i picked it up

cheers
John

You've got yourself a SJ80. Check the chassis #.EG: JSAOSJ80***********
Coily's are smooth but you may wish you had bought a leafy if you want to give it a hard time offroad.

Yep SJ80 and yes the coily's are a bit harder to modify for more than just a mild lift but it can be done. Good luck and have fun with the new purchase.

it may be harder to modify but it is worth it.
