75 series cig. lighter removal

Post by CT »

This has to be stupid question of the day. How the hell do I get the cig. lighter body out of the plastic dash facia to replace it? I've got the facia off, the wiring disconnected, but the bloody thing doesn't seem to push or twist out.

Geez I love the little jobs!

Cheers

I think there's a vertical screw in the top of it, above the big hole, which can be hard to see. Kinda underneath the top edge if you get what i'm saying

Ohh wait i think we're talking about something completely different.
Don't remember exactly how the actual socket comes apart. Have you tried un-doing the little nut on the back of it?
