Tyre question

Post by Bajan Tim »

i have a 98 SJ80 and im looking to replace my 30x9.5 bf goodrich mud terrains with something a little more agreessive. im leaning toward some 31x11.5 superswamper ltbs.

my question is how do different tyre profiles affect performance on suzukis. in other words from your own experiences what differences have you noted running wider vs narrower rubber on your zooks?

I would try and avoid going over 10.5 in a Sierra unless you only use the wide tyres in dry conditions.

Personally, I'd go for a 32 9.5 15 swamper if that's the diameter you are limited to.
Just my 2C
