Anyway Im pulling the front end apart this weekend and rebuilding replacing the lot, but thought about the CV's is there any special way of re-packing them.....? Im also doing the bearings felts and kinpin bearings as well so I will get photos of pull apart and put back together if there isnt anything for the bible tech section...?

Not perfectly relevent, but heres a go:

I found just ramming the grease into the CV balls (bearing balls not the swivel ball), then rotating the axles in your hand and swivelling the CV, repeat, and repeat, and repeat, and get RSI. Its messy, probably bad for skin, but works. This is with the axle shafts etc removed from the car axle housing.

Wheeling on completely wicked angles, without even looking stable.
Use the black/charcoal colour castrol grease. As said put cv end in the vise and push grease into the bearing using the heel of the palm. Work one spot until it comes out the other end then move on. This will ensure grease is all the way through it. Its messy but an easy job.

Roll up your sleeves and get into it.
Lithium grease "LMB" (the grey stuff) is the correct grease for CV's.
Steve.
