Hi all,
I'm about to do my swivel hub seals on my F75 Rocky tomorrow... Or at least thats what I'm told it's called.
The kit came with 3 seals and 2 roller bearings for each side, is this all I will need or should I be needing some more bits and pieces.
Anyone else done this?
Know of any special tools I will be needing or can I just improvise with whatever gets it apart?

It would be the minimum you would need.
Assuming it's 2 king pin bearings, an axle oil seal, a hub wipe seal and hub felt (per side).
Havn't done it to a Rocky, but just going to assume the same as the vehicle s i have done. Shouldn't need much in the way of tools, just your basics. Take your brake caliper off, Undo the freewheeling hubs and release the axle via a circlip, then undo the king pins and drop the hub assembly off, so that you don't have to mess around with the wheel bearings. Tie Rod and drag link may cause problems in creating space to pull the axle out, so may need to pop them off aswell.
Although, if you are going to play around with the front, it really wouldn't hurt to do every seal and replace the wheel bearings whilst you're at it and have everything pulled apart. Not essential, but never hurts to do extra maintenance.

But I was looking at the workshop manual and it seems to say there's a few other parts that I shouldn't be reusing such as the 'Shaft snap ring' 'Free wheel hub gasket' 'Front axle bearing lock nut lock' 'Shims' and a couple of other similar bits...
My question is if these aren't meant to be re-used, should they have been included in the kit?

Not sure where you're from but I got mine from ABC Bearings in Brookevale (syd)
Cost me like $110 i think, not sure where I've put the receipt.
Also not sure if you can get a more substantial kit... This one doesnt seem to have much to it where as the cruiser kits seem to have all the shims and gaskets as well...

Yeah mate, not too tricky...
Just make sure you clean it all up well.
A little time consuming but I had delays due to rain. I have no garage space so I had to stop work while it rained.
Relatively simple to do though, and if you have a copy of the workshop manual it may come in handy!
