AOD gearebox to what transfercase

Post by STIKA »

I have a mate who is after a transfer case that will adapt to an AOD auto gera box ( i think its some sort of trick ford Box)

The transfer case must have a right hand drop for the front axel

and be suitable for a 400hp motor

Advance adapters make an adapter to adapt a AOD to a Dana 20.

If anything, you'd need a late model F150 version of the box which will run a borg-warner 1350 transfer case. Most are LHS drop, are chain drive and have slip yokes AFAIK.

Might be better with a C series auto? I couldn't find anything else.
