I dont know if this is normal or not, but the air blower (the air that comes out of the dashboard) -i dont know what its called- blows nice hot air into my face during the 30 degree heat. just wondering why? does it suck its air from somewhere hot in the engine bay?
its kinda really anoying. the heater works fine (yes i know it only comes out at ur feet) and theres no problem with the power, just the hot air it blows.
Its only cold if your sweating enough to make it feel cold
I hate going to weddings because all the grandma's used to poke me in the ribs saying you're next, you're next. They've stopped doing it since I started doing it to them at funerals.
Not 100% but if its set to cold the valve in the cooling system that lets the coolent circulate through the mini radiator would be closed. So in theory air coming out the vents should be the same as outside temp. It comes in through the cowl (behind the bonnet) and through the mini radiator which wouldnt be hot then through to the vents. Possibly the valve is stuck? Its next to the brake booster in the engine bay. Small plunger that goes up and down check that it moves when you change from hot to cold on the dash.

I'm not sure about zooks but that is what happens when commodores start blowing hot air. The heater control leaks and some coolant flows and heats the air a little.
The heater valve can stick- they fill up with gunk - or the cable can come off. Get someone to move the heater control while you watch to see if the valve moves.
Think yourself lucky you don't have a 1.0 - the centre vents ALWAYS blow outside temperature air.... even if its minus eleventy degrees, and the control cables tend to bend and kink at the dashboard end. I've spent days on mine.... and at the moment.... eveything works
