Central Diff Lock to R151f gearbox

Post by gotoy »

This question has been bugging me for a few months and now I have plucked up the courage to ask

Is it at all possible to fit a CDL transmission box alongside a R151F gearbox? Perhaps taking CDL from 80 series.

Yes thank for the info.

Is it possible to fit CDL to my Lj70?

I am asking this just for knowledge by the way, not going to do it.

I dont know but i do know an 80 box fits in a 75 ute behind a hdft...and the shorty pzj70 had the r series box but it was part time...the 100 1hz std is part time r series but the gxl has the cdl, same transfer casing just slightly longer to accomodate the centre diff...maybe 30mm at the rear output.
