Drive shaft Spacers.

Post by tanshi »

Im in need of a couple of 1 inch drive shaft spacers. Does any one on here make them? The only place i can find who has them wants $85 each for them. I could get two posted over from the US for less than that but if some one makes them I'd rather let some one local have my cash.

So you found www.snakeracing.com.au ;)

In all seriousnees you would hard pressed to get some made cheaper
Once you factor materials and labour ($60/hour) $85 is not really too bad a price.

BTW that is one of my Zook you click to get the Sierra parts

I need a pair of 1" spacers too!
If you find an engineering shop that will make some up we can split the cost. ;)

Scale of economies, with more head per capita than us the US sells more units thus can make a smaller profit per unit and still beat us on costs

Sad state of affairs when if you want to spend your money locally you have to spend more

For what its worth I am not affiliated in any way with Snake other the fact that I brought the truck on their website.

Do it. You will have them within 7 days. prolly faster than a local shop too. I have two on cammo, and they are a great quality product.

Problem is Spidertrax only have 3/4 " in stock and they can't say when they'll have other sizes.

Nobody want to take a job like this on unless there is 50-100 units or it's not worth it to them
