AC R12 replacement
The AC in the XF died about 6 mths back, it still had gas but was low. I saw a few references on here and elsewhere to LPG, read some more, liked what I read, and tried it. Changed nothing, just put it in.
Works a treat. AC works brilliantly. Just filled it until the site glass ran clear.
Not starting a debate about appropriateness, just saying it works, tasol.

Saddle up tonto, its the not so loanrangie! . 98 TDI DISCO lightly modded with more to come.
Made an adapter, and mate is an ac fitter, so borrowed his gauge set.
R12 burns and makes mustard gas. I have 65L of petrol on board. I'm not that worried about 400gms of LPG. It's fully legal in NSW and sold under various brand names. Even has a regrigerant number.
Either way, this post was merely to confirm it works well.

Just be wary though, you shouldnt have any problems, but according to road regs you are not allowed to have LPG lines enter anywhere into the cabin. This is in relation to cars that run on LPG but it doesnt specify that specifically.
This is what i was told when considering it for dads XF wagon at least (which is for sale btw ahem)
