The air con. pump has a noisey bearing in front pully. How do I get the front pully off pump???????

What model? Particularly - which compressor model? Sanden, Denso or Other?

Most of them have a single lock nut on the hub, which then pulls off either a splined or key-taper shaft, then there is usually an inside circlip or similar retaining the bearing and pulley.

The bearings aren't cheap, I put a new one in my Sanden SD508 which is used for an air compressor - 45 bucks :shock:

Thanks for your help. We got it off and have the bearing on order. Did not price it but it will be cheaper than $195 for a 2nd hand pump from the wreakers
