3" mandrel bend of the turbo 2.5" exhaust will improve torque

on any turbo vehicle i would go 3" mandrel bent from turbo to the back with straight through mufflers

i had a 2lt motor in my old lux. had a 2.5 mendrel exhuast on it and it went like a shower of s@#t. if you know what i mean.
The little exhaust you have is not sufficient for the turbo setup. i know this from experience.

I had the factory drinking straw replaced recently to a 2.25 inch sysem (for ease of fitment basically) and my EGTS (exhaust gas temps) have dropped by about 60 to 80 degrees c across the range .. and that is running on warmer days .. so the change may be even greater.

I have an autometer EGT guage with the thermocouple pre turbo (just between the turbo outlet and number 2 exhaust port) I have also noticed that the system comes up to full boost around 6-700rpm lower.

This is on a 2lt also runinng marginally more fuel, fresh injectors and pretty much stock everything else.

3" is abit pointless as the flange on the back of the turbo is only 2 1/2" on a 2lt. therefore put a 2 1/2 mandrel bent on with 1 straight thru muffler and you will definutely see the difference
