SJ80 Rear Shocks

Post by Sean »

G'day,

Here is yet another question about an SJ80. Am i able to use the same set of rear shocks as a leafie. My rears have recently given up and i need to replace them. I was thinking of getting the OME Nitrochargers but am unsure as to whether or not i can use the same shocks as leafies. I am just looking for standard length shocks.

Cheers,
Sean

Both shocks are about the same length and have eyes at each end so they *might* fit but they will not have adequate valving.

they will fit, but yeah you will need some nicer ones in the coily, i swapped the ones from my leafy into my coily as a temporary thing and it was fine.
