Sorry but they're the only weekends I've got...

If we make it Woodpecker weekend (8-9 Dec) then we'll potentially loose 4 competitors soe maybe 24-25 Nov is the only choice. So far there's only one person who can't do 24-25 Nov.....any one else?

Any suggestions for somewhere local and legal?

So what's the problem?

It's the weekend after Woodpecker. Already squeezing it in between Werock and Ozrock finals - why not make it a menage a trois?

Just spoke to Rover Park. 24-25 Nov is the date. Unless there's any major objections, we'll book it in!

Your still going to loose the 4 cars that are going to woodpecker as they are not going to be able to take time off work 2 weeks in a row and they are also not going to want to risk major damage a week out from a major comp.

If that is the case then maybe the 8-9 Dec is better - any takers?

Hey what would i know i dont even own a 4WD that goes any more. But ive got lots of cool parts :D

But personally i think after is better than before. At least the guys that have come away from Woodpecker unscathed will have a chance to compete.

I agree with you and if I were competing, than I'd be more comfortable with this too. But if the December date is a problem for more than a few competitors, then we'll go back to the November date. Can't please everyone though.....

I've given you plenty of opportunity to suggest another venue....

Rover Park is the only place that I know of where we can compete under their insurance and we're welcome!

Never been there - is it any good?

Rover Park really is the only option at this stage because we can just turn up on the Sat, set the courses and go. Maybe next time we can look into differect venues but with the limited time frame, I'm thinking Rover Park is the place to go.

Qustion?

If this is just a "fill in event" or" competition without the competition"
Why not just lay out some cones & drive it?

If this is what was inteded .. why the need for insurance?

Dave if Bretts out then just contact Ben and Jason as Scotty wont be able to compete the weekend after Woodpecker anyway. His hilux as we know it will be retired as soon as it returns from Woodpecker.
