GQ Lower trailing arms
GQ Lower trailing arms
Im putting in a 3" lift into my GQ SWB and i have a set of adjustable rear lower trailing arms to put in aswell.
Im wanting to know how much longer then the origanial arms should i set them, going off hobzees ebay store, he sells arms that are 16mm longer then standard for the 3" lift, does that sound right and what have other people extended there arms by?

Re: GQ Lower trailing arms
When you are adjusting it look at the angle of the Uni's and try get them so they are parallel or close to it. Do you know what I mean?MARKx4 wrote:Im putting in a 3" lift into my GQ SWB and i have a set of adjustable rear lower trailing arms to put in aswell.

generally 16mm is for a 4 inch lift but it may vary between trucks depending on tru coil height eg, dobo's are higher than EFS/kings or tough dog. GU is about 10mm longer than GQ so when buying it will pay to check what the arms are manufactured to either GU or GQ specs.
As suspension stuff stated the idea is to get both flanges parrallel to each other.
