GQ Lower trailing arms

Im putting in a 3" lift into my GQ SWB and i have a set of adjustable rear lower trailing arms to put in aswell.
Im wanting to know how much longer then the origanial arms should i set them, going off hobzees ebay store, he sells arms that are 16mm longer then standard for the 3" lift, does that sound right and what have other people extended there arms by?
Its not cool, unless it's got boost :)

16mm seems to be the common figure thrown around. And being adjustable it want be to hard to change if its not quite right.

When you are adjusting it look at the angle of the Uni's and try get them so they are parallel or close to it. Do you know what I mean?

16mm is for 100mm (4") i am told
1993 Gq lwb with added xtra's :) sold
fj60,lifted,35s,33s for daily, 3f power!

You were told wrong.

Mine is actually a 2" lift, on the larger side of 2".

generally 16mm is for a 4 inch lift but it may vary between trucks depending on tru coil height eg, dobo's are higher than EFS/kings or tough dog. GU is about 10mm longer than GQ so when buying it will pay to check what the arms are manufactured to either GU or GQ specs.
As suspension stuff stated the idea is to get both flanges parrallel to each other.

I installed the suspension and lower arms and f&r panhards yesterday. I set the lower arms at 16mm longer and i havent noticed any drive line vibration, which is a good thing.
Its not cool, unless it's got boost :)

i added 18mm to mine when i put 5" coils in.

also welded some 3mm angle to them for strenght.
