Okay still looking for a navi. I have had alot of interest but no-one serious.

So if anyone is seriously interested in a navi position for the 2008 OBC and is prepared to share the entry fee and fuel costs pm me.

Okay well i will put out the question to all past competitors. How did you and you navi split the costs of competing in previous OBC's?

I have already talked to a few past competitors and they have all said that entry fee, fuel, food, beer etc was 50/50 and that it was the driver’s responsibility to prepare the truck and pay for any breakdowns during the event.

This is what i am asking, is this unreasonable?

Please only comment if you have actually competed before.

I've done 5 OBC as a Navi and that arangement has been used although I've always got involved before, during and after with the vehicle prep, fixes and clean-up.

Rangie Racing from South Australia have a few vehicles and enter different events such as OBC, Cliffhanger, Alpine, and track events in SA. The arrangement between driver and nav has been to share the costs of entry fees, food, fuel and any cost relevant to the event. Gary
