For what?
If you're into sloppy mud, I'd say the BFG M/Ts are the best of what you've listed.
For rocks, the MT/Rs have a good reputation.
For general off-road / touring application, I've had MT/Rs, I'm happy with my STTs, but I'm thinking I might end up with the Mickey T's next time.
So, go the Claws.

I found that that my radial claws lost there bite very early in there tyre life and you just get the shits with them after that. That is my only problem with them, they are suprisingly not to bad on road considering the tread pattern. If you are not into mud i would susgest MTRs as i found them great. had them as a second set for touring in a 35in and they were weak as piss. the side walls are paper thin, they wouldn't steer in the mud, they rolled off the rim all of the time when low pressure. i lost trust in them and took them off. my car is now past being used as a tourer so i don't need radials anymore. if i was going to do a tourer i would get bfg muddies. they shit all over the claws in every way except for straight line in mud. had two sets got about 80k out of each set. they were heaps more puncture resistant too. just personal opinion though. two other mates had them(radial claws) one was happy the other did one trip on them, came home took em off and sold them straight away. he got a set of mtr's and is happier with them.

I vote with both hands on the MT Claws radials. Im on the last legs of my second set and love them.
The hardest thing when comparing tires is what vehicle they are to be used on. I run claws on my 80s as does a mate and we both love em. Another mate runs MTRs on his 80 and hates them to death - he's impressed enough with the performance of ours that hes getting a set.
The 3 of us all drive near identical trucks on the same tracks and same driving style and in this case the claws are a superior tire to the MTR. Thats not to say the MTR isnt a great tire on another vehicle just not the best in our application.
I run my 315/75/16 at 10 -12 psi on sand and 16psi off rd and have never rolled a tire. I run them at 40psi on rd and find them to be excellent in both wet and dry. This last set did 20,000km round OZ some of which doing excessive speeds on corrugated rds and returned to sydney without so much as a leak - 120kph @ 25psi for 200ks sometimes.Sure they had their fair share of cuts, chips and cracks but they suited my purpose just fine.
To find a tire that suits you best you need to find similar vehicles to yours driving similar terrain and see what they have to say. That will give you the best indication to what will work and what wont.
Good luck its never an easy decision.

from my expiriences with talking to people, and the same trend is being followed in this thread, the claws are a 50/50 split between love and hate. the people that love them, think they are worth their weight in gold, and then abit more. the people that hate them, would like to see them melted down rather than be sold in the same store as other reputable brands.
im personaly going to buy a 2nd hand set with 90% tread on them, and if i dont like them, ill sell them on. after hearing so many opnions, i think that the only way for me to truely know, is to test them out myself, on my own truck, on the tracks i drive.
thats an option for you i spose, all depends on how willing you are to take a punt on something with so varying responces.
then, you could also go the BFG's which have a solid rep as a good wearing tire onroad, and still pretty damn good off.
in the end tho, its still going to be a punt for you... take a punt, and ya might find yaself with a tire ya will never wanna change from

tyre choice will vary with each vehicle as i have mates that love the mongrel but on a zook they are not so good as the zook is not heavy enough to bag the sidewall. silverstone mt117 are softer but are prone to sidewall damage on the heavy vehiclesas the bag out alot.

After running several sets of tyres between me and my mates the list includes. yoko geolander ats, copper st's, radial claws, bfg mud, mongrels, swampers, maxxis creepy, sumitomo muds, mtrs, jt2's and also mtz's. on my patrol i found the swampers great for off road only (still run them) the mtrs are a small tyre compared to my swampers but handle well on road. the radial claws arent the best on side slopes and are a small but wide tyre for there size they did wear well though and never puncture until bald. bfg mud shot them selves in the foot with the rim protector as when aired down dirt gets stuck and you end up with a flat tyre most trips sold them within a month of owning. Mongrels are a great cheap tyre but are soft and wore out quick. the creepy's are a stiff tyre to start with as is the jt2 but when let down they seem to work well on most sufaces. the copper st's dig well in dirt but chip on rock a bit more a road tyre then the others but they dig better than creepys on dirt when fitted to the same vechicle. the yoko's got flogged of road before the mongrels and they held up really well. they chippeda bit but in general a great dirt and sand tyre. these are a few any way hope this helps someone.
