hey

sorry if this has been covered, search didn retrieve anyting useful.

what is needed to be able to register/mod plate a wagon to single cab ute conversion in QLD?

is it just a simple mod plate aftert the conversion is finished?

do u need an engineer certficate?

or is there more needed? if so what?

yes a mod plate is needed 2 d extreme does these conversions at a sensible price ,pm me if you want his number.

hey,

so is a mod plate all that is needed (porviding the chaop and panel work is all done professionally etc etc)?

i already have a panel beater. just need to know what needs to be done to keep DOT happy.

12mm overlap or whatever it is called. body mounts need to be close to the back not miles away. common sense needs to be used with most, just some finicke little things to talk to people about.
turbos are nice but i'd rather be blown

YES, confirmend.

All you need is the easy mod plate that most Mod Plate certified examiners can do.

There is 2 levels of Mod platess in QLD, stuff that has been done 500 times in the past, like yours, LOW LEVEL.

The more rare stuff that hasn't been done in the engineering field that requires a bulliten to be put out by the DOT for it to become LOW LEVEL. This type is like when you want to do something like bend a front suspension component that requires technical engineering test data.
