I wish mine didn't have the crappy lights either. Being a 1989 model I didnt have lights in the bumper and had to wire the ones in the bar in. That is the engineered weakspot of the bar. Both my ends have bent up about half an inch through the light area which has distorted. I broke a lens about a month ago and the only place I could source them from was ARB at $50. I decided to cover both the holes with rubber from Clark rubber which cost me $4 and looks fine. I just cut it to shape and glued over the top. One day I will try and get a bar like jamies without the lights but they are rarer than hen's teeth. ARB said they wont make one without the balnks cutout for the lights, too much trouble.

I think that you bought that bar off me I sold one with no lights in it for 300 bucks. it had 2 little dents in it?

A rav4 hit me in the arse at 80km I was stopped thats what broke my lights. bar is still good but. The rav4 didnt come off to well.

How do I put a pic in I will show you the rav4. I think I will make some leds fit some how.

ARB dont list it anymore thats why they never made it. D!)khe@ds

Thanks for the help but

Hey Redmav do you have the part number off the light cover but I know they are made by britax. I was hoping to contact Dritax direct maybe.[/img]

No, sorry 'Michael a' I dont have the part number, even though I still have one lens cover attached its under my glued on rubber and I dont want to rip it off to find it out as I spent ages glueing it on. Somebody on here must have one that they can just walk to their driveway and write down a number.
