shackle reversal

Post by bravo »

Q: Can you do a shackle reversal to a FJ73 mwb front end without doing a springover. Is it just a case of cutting off the old mounts and mounting new ones on but in reverse. Does the axle need to be rotated or anything like that, does the mounting spring plates on the axle need to be moved?

nah just like you say, but if you dont use 2" dropped hangers in the front you are going to run into caster problems.

Diff wedges can fix that.
