60 SERIES LEAFS IN 82 LUX

Post by cameron80 »

hi all

i have been able to get my hands on a set of front and
rear (heavy duty, ironman brand)60 series leafs for nothing.

just wondering will they fit on 82 duel cab hilux???
looking for bit more height not to worried about flex

there shorter but have more bend

i was gonna make extended shackles any way, with out the 60 leafs.

is it gonna matter that the extended shackles will be facing in wards
rather then outwards if ya know what i mean??? / rather then\.

i think the shackles will need to be about 200mm long just to reach.

Is it worth doing??
will there be any forseeable dramas??

this car is just a basher and doesnt see much tarmac time

so not to fazed about the legality of what in doing.

any help would be great
cheers Cameron

if the shackle is alreeady on the same angle as the spring, the wheel cannot drop at all so its going to be totally shit.
