I have some minor shutting probs and minor water probs

The interior headling of the softop (the bits that fold back inside) need the outer bindings replaced and as you slide it back it is interfearing with the opening mechanisume causing the roof to stop slideing
ive been given the impression that i will need to remove the outside covering to see exactly what the problem is and was wondering if any one has done this before. also with the rain water is dripping out of the pinchweld around the door opening . do you know if there are any workshop manuals etc that explain the proceedures to pull the roof apart?

from ythe above comment i am guessing u mean the sunroof section, not the soft top section?
mine has a similar problem with it not wanting to close due to fouled sunroof mechanism.
i would expect you would need to start with the headlining behind the sunroof, though i havent looked in great detail.
