Lift Question
Hey,
Interested in some opinions on the best way to go about lifting my cruiser.
Am I better off getting 2" lift and 30mm coil spacers, or 3" spring lift, or 2" spring and 2" body lift.
I want to put 35's under the 80 but not sure which way to go about the lift for the best outcome. Altho, I'm leaning towards the coil spacers...

The Dobinsons 3" lift coils are a bit taller then the Lovells 3" so choose which one you would prefer. You will need sway bar extension brackets, longer brake hoses, castor correction bushes and longer shocks.80sStylin wrote:Hey,

Hey mate from my mates and my experence to do a 3" lift do and use the following:
- Lovells 3" springs
- dobbison skocks or tough dog
- No rear sway bar
- extended brake lines (braided lines make your brakes better)
- no castor correction as they are not needed with this setup but you can use them if you want (Had 33" tyres)
- leave front sway bar as is but make quick disconects so you can take it off when off road i can tell you how to make if you want. just pm me (i never re connect mine still handles fine)
If you use the stuff above you will get a nice ride and good flex hope you have fun! you may need to space your bump stop the minimise your up travel so your 35s dont get jamed in your gards.

IMOP caster correction it's a must ! when you go more than 1.5" lift ..
You loose aprox 1.7 - 2 degrees of caster per inch of lift .. if means when you go over 2.5" you can in negative caster ...
